We are supporting local educators by providing up to $5,000 in classroom materials through our ‘Clear the List’ campaign. Teachers throughout the Oklahoma City metro are encouraged to submit their Amazon wish list of school supplies and critical classroom materials for the chance to have their wishes fulfilled by the local homebuilder.
The first teacher we rewarded is Shawna Hughes, a fifth-grade teacher at Adams Elementary School in Norman, with over $1,000 worth of vital school supplies. We are looking to further our impact with in our community and provide for a greater number of educators.
“Home Creations is passionate about building strong communities – and that starts with strong schools,” said Farzaneh. “By ensuring teachers and students have the tools required to be successful in the classroom, we are strengthening future generations, highlighting the importance of education and building a better future for our community.”
Recently, we cleared the list for Aaron Davila, the PE teacher at John Glenn Elementary. Davila needed updated equipment for his PE class. We provided equipment such as a volleyball net along with volleyballs, baseball tees, bats and a net, t-balls, dodgeballs, plus badminton rackets and birdies.
