Halloween Events around OKC

Halloween is just around the corner. As you find costumes and prepare for a night (or weekend) of trick-or-treating, we have compiled a list of places to take your family for Halloween events.

 

Brick-or-Treat

Bricktown District • Oct. 23 • 4-7 p.m.

Bring your family to this free event at the Bricktown Entertainment District! This family-friendly event includes roaming characters, a photo booth, and trick-or-treating from various businesses in the area. Trick-or-treaters must be 14 years of age or younger and be in costume, accompanied by an adult to receive candy and giveaways.

 

Haunt the Zoo

OKC Zoo • Oct. 7-29 • 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Every year, the Oklahoma City Zoo hosts Haunt the Zoo. In fact, this is their 40th year to hold this event. Bring your family to the OKC Zoo to trick-or-treat at 13 booths located throughout the zoo. Plus, you’ll get to see all the animals! Prices for this event range from $8-$24.

 

BronchoThon Trunk or Treat Car Show

University of Central Oklahoma, North University Drive, Edmond • Oct. 29 •  11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Join UCO for the BronchoThon Trunk or Treat Car Show. This event will be filled with candy, costumes, and cool cars! Bring your car, dress up in your Halloween costume, and bring your family and friends to enjoy a one-of-a-kind trunk or treat experience.

 

Twilight Trick or Treat Boos & Brews

210 James Graner Ave., Norman, OK • Oct 28 • 5-9 p.m.

Local businesses in the area will be handing out candy to kiddos dressed in their costume. There will also be an area to get a free face painting, food & beverages, free arts and crafts, live music and a photo booth!

 

Mustang Spooktacular Celebration

Wild Horse Park – 1201 N Mustang Road, Mustang, OK • Oct. 26 • 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Bring your family out to Wild Horse Park for the Spooktacular Celebration. This free Halloween event will feature carnival games, a haunted house, inflatables, train rides, food trucks and much more!

 

Spooksville

Yukon Community Center 2200 S Holly Avenue, Yukon, OK • Oct. 28 • 3 p.m.

Join the City of Yukon, October 28, for their annual Spooksville. This event will have a costume contest, mutt masquerade, a kid-friendly trail, a movie to enjoy with the family, and haunted trails.

 

Hometown Halloween

92 Monroe NW, Piedmont, OK • Oct. 29 • 6 - 10 p.m.

Local businesses in Piedmont will be hosting #iHeartPIEDMONT Hometown Halloween. They will have games, food trucks, a bounce house, a pumpkin decorating contest and of course – trick or treating!

 

Chickasha’s Trick or Treat

Chickasha Main Street • Oct. 31 • 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Join the town of Chickasha for the Neewollah Trick or Treat event. Attendees will enjoy going trick-or-treating for Halloween candy and treats. There will also be a costume contest for a chance to win prizes in the following categories: most creative, funniest, scariest, and best overall costume.
