Home Creations constantly seeks to build quality and affordable energy efficient homes for families across Oklahoma. Our state’s climate and environment affect our construction methods and the type of energy rating system we use.

Each of our homes are certified energy efficient; backed with the Home Energy Rating System Index (HERS® Index) developed by the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET). The HERS rating is recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency (E.P.A.) and U.S. Department of Energy (D.O.E.) as official verification of energy performance. NEWS RELEASE

The HERS^® Index is a registered trademark of the Residential Energy Services Network. The HERS Index rating is unique to a specific floor plan as designed, not as built, using RESNET-approved software, RESNET-determined inputs and certain assumed conditions. The typical new home HERS Index rating of 100 is the RESNET HERS Index reference home, which is built to the specifications of the 2006 International Energy Conservation Code. More information about the HERS Index rating can be found on RESNET's website.
